Day 1

Statement of the day: Food is fuel…and I want a cheeseburger.

Just joking!

Going strong here on day one. I feel great and I didn’t expect anything different. My energy is where I want it to be.

Actually over the last few years, I’ve been cutting down the amount of meat that I consume not really thinking of it as a challenge. I wouldn’t say that it’s something that I’ve intentionally been trying to do. But just because I’ve really cleaned up my diet, I had to make more room for vegetables. Also, my wife is a big reason for that. She loves to cook and cook healthy. I love to eat and hate to cook. So, I now I eat much healthier. Thank you Kaia!

Fun fact: Eating less processed foods and more vegetables can help decrease your risk for obesity. Vegetables are full of nutrients including fiber, which contribute to feeling full while being low in calories.
