LAUREN COLSTON, RDN

Since I was a little girl, one of my favorite places to be is the kitchen. I was always experimenting with foods and fun, new recipes and learning to use cool kitchen gadgets. As I grew up I realized the importance of food in overall health and how it affects our daily lives. I believe in the power of food as fuel for our bodies and learning to find what works best for you. 

I am a Registered Dietitian and have had a passion for fitness for as long as I can remember. My goal is to help you find a diet that works for you – no fads here! All foods can be part of a healthy diet, and I will show you how to do that along with small changes you can make everyday to improve your health. 

Lauren is from Frankfort, Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky. 

JON MESSICK

Growing up playing sports, I’ve always enjoyed being physically active. It wasn’t until high school that I started to workout and actually train my body for the sport I was playing. I soon began to enjoy the off season more than the actual season. I loved (and still do) working toward a goal and challenging myself mentally and physically to see how far I can go or push myself.

During college, I developed workout programs and began to enjoy building plans to help accomplish my goals. I learned that I enjoy the planning just as much as the execution. When I graduated, I started training clients and of course fell in love with that as well. There is no feeling like the joy that comes from helping someone do something or accomplish something that they did not believe was possible when you first started working with them.

I’ve been training clients for 10+ years now and I can honestly say that I truly love what I do. I believe that my purpose in this life is to help people and I so grateful that I get to do that everyday.
